About

Born and bred in Cambridge, UK, I grew up listening to Boney M and cutting a dashing figure about town with my skew-whiff fringe and mustard corduroy dungarees.

Having decided a career in fashion wasn’t for me, I loped off to Nottingham University to knuckle down to some serious studying. There I learnt many useful things, but if I’m honest, art history wasn’t one of them.

My graduate job in pharmaceutical PR bought me bang up to date with advancements in maggot therapy and limb amputation. A bout of queasiness propelled me into my next role as a media officer for an international conservation charity, before I landed a job as a staff writer for a finance magazine and news website in Hong Kong.

You’ll notice my experience is diverse. I like it that way.

By not specialising in any one sector, I’m exposed to different ways of thinking and working - great for dreaming up new ideas. I also avoid getting bored which means you always enjoy writing that’s fresh, interesting and a pleasure to read.

Best of all, the creative process involves gallons of hot tea and biscuits a-plenty. What could be better?
